A simple, devoted stay in Bhuj
Shree Harikrishna Bhuvan gives pilgrims, families and travellers a clean, calm and welcoming base in Kutch.
Who we are
Shree Harikrishna Bhuvan is a guest house and home stay in Bhuj, in the Kutch district of Gujarat. We built it around a few plain ideas: clean rooms, quiet corridors, a place to eat together and a courtyard where the day can slow down.
Many of our guests come for darshan at the Swaminarayan temple in Bhuj. Others are families visiting Kutch, groups travelling together, or visitors using Bhuj as the gateway to the White Rann and Rann Utsav. All of them are welcome here.
We keep things easy. You message us your dates, we confirm the room, and you arrive to a bed that is ready.

Named for Shri Harikrishna Maharaj
The Bhuvan carries the name of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj, the form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan worshipped at Vadtal Dham. The image here is the murti of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj in his festive attire.
The spirit of the Swaminarayan tradition is simple living, cleanliness and service to guests. We try to bring the same spirit to the way we run the house.
Guests are warmly invited to keep to the quiet that a devotional place deserves.

Why Bhuj
Bhuj is the old capital of Kutch and the best base for the region. The Swaminarayan temple here was built in 1822, damaged badly in the 2001 earthquake, and rebuilt in marble. The new temple opened in May 2010.
From the Bhuvan you can reach the royal palaces, the Kutch Museum, craft villages such as Bhujodi, and the road to the White Rann. Our travel guides explain how to plan each trip.
